As expected, MSI has officially launched the 10-inch MSI Wind U100 in the States. The compact, lightweight netbook has just popped up in branches of Best Buy for $399 – a mere £230.
The laptop comes with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 120GB hard disk drive, 10-inch 1,024 x 600 screen, 1GB of memory and Windows XP Home Edition, and is available in black and white finishes. The keyboard is a point of pride for MSI, because it’s only 20 percent smaller than a full sized one, despite the U100′s dinky dimensions.
