Yeah, we know the UK hasn’t had a taste of the first Amazon Kindle yet, but already its successor has been spotted, packing smoother curves and fewer weird angles.
Bagged by Boy Genius Report, this shot shows the new ebook reader side by side with its predecessor. It’s a less outlandish design, which replaces the original’s scroll wheel with a direction pad, and also loses the SD card slot in favour or more built-in memory.
There’s also a hint that stereo speakers are built in, but other improvements are thin on the ground. The screen is the same size (and still black and white), and no, we still don’t know when it’ll arrive in the UK.
