Wii SpeakNintendo’s recent conference wasn’t all about the DSi y’know. After all, a Nintendo conference wouldn’t be complete without peripheral news. Voice gizmo Wii Speak along with its own channel will finally be out next month.

The chatterbox channel will let up to four mates who’ve swapped Friend Codes talk to each other in a dedicated chat room for you and your Mii chums.

Each player will be represented by their on-screen Mii, mimicking each person’s speaking actions as they speak.

Of course you’ll need Wii Speak to make use of the chatty software, which you’ll be able to pick up for around £17.

You won’t have to be stuck in a Mii filled chat room to make use of it though. Animal Crossing: Let’s Go To the City will be the first game to make use of the feature.

Out November | Around £17 | Nintendo
