As rumours go, this is incredibly precise. MCV is claiming Nintendo will unveil the new DS tomorrow, at 5am UK time.
MCV has a good track record, so we’re inclined to take them seriously when they say Nintendo president Satoru Iwata will make a surprise announcement, unveiling the all-new handheld, complete with a built-in camera and MP3 player.
There’s no launch date or price mentioned, but MCV is confident it’ll make an appearance on shelves before Christmas, all according to an “impeccable source in Japan.”
Will the new DS materialise as MCV predicts? It’s either a pointlessly precise rumour, or the real deal. Stay tuned for more as we hear it.
