ChargeBox: coming to a Vodafone store near you soon!Stuck outdoors with a dead mobile? Never fear! Vodafone’s coming to the rescue with in-store charging!

Dubbed ChargeBox, it’s a secure place to re-juice your phone, MP3 player or portable games console, in-store at Vodafone shops all over the country.

Pay £1 for 30 minutes of charging, or £2 for 90 minutes, and you’ll get a locker to stuff your gadget inside while it’s connected up. You can even pay by text message, and you’ll take the locker key away with you, so nobody can fiddle with your kit while you’re away.

30 Vodafone stores will get the ChargeBox at first, in London’s St Pancras station and Harrods store, as well as Birmingham’s Bull Ring shopping centre.

Stores in Belfast, Newcastle and Bristol also get the service from today.

Out now | From £1 | Vodafone (via Pocket-Lint)
