We’ve already heard the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm will be a Vodafone exclusive when it hits the UK, but now these new spy shots have been unearthed, showing the phone in its British get-up for real.
Uncovered by the phone fans at Boy Genius Report, they show the BlackBerry Storm branded with Vodafone’s logo, and all set to invade Britain.
there are new shots of the phone’s interface too, showing off the keyboard (rumoured to include next-generation haptic technology) in both orientations, a spreadsheet app, e-mail composition, video player, web browser and calendar.
It all looks very slick, and more polished than the last spy shots. There are large, finger-friendly buttons and crisp design. Boy Genius points out that the interface seems a bit text-heavy in places, with a lack of shiny buttons found on handsets like the iPhone.
We’re cool with that though. What we’re seeing is a simplistic interface that would make the Storm quick to use on the go. What do you think? Have a look at the gallery below and decide for yourself: Too simple, or just a bit bland? Let us know in the comments section.
