Samsung’s second ever 8-megapixel mobile phone has been spotted in the wild. Dubbed either the M8800 Bresson or M8800 Pixon, it also sports a 3.2-inch touch screen display, and uses the same TouchWiz interface as the Omnia and Tocco.
It’s not strictly a smartphone, and doesn’t have a full slide-out keyboard, but does offer HSDPA, GPS, a microSD slot and an accelerometer. There’s no Wi-Fi.
The camera, meanwhile, comes with auto focus; face, smile and blink detection; anti-shake; geotagging; ISO up to 1600; and wide dynamic range shooting. It can also capture video at WVGA (720 x 480) and VGA (640 x 480) resolutions.
There’s no word on a UK launch date or pricing just yet, but we’ll bring you more news on this pic-snapping superstar when we get it.
