Looking for a new laptop? You might want to hold on to your cash for a while. New listings for Apple Macs just showed up on American retailer Best Buy’s internal inventory system, hinting at an imminent launch for new models.

They’re just placeholders, but there are six new models listed in total. Is it a coincidence that Apple currently sells six models of MacBook and MacBook Pro, both of which are overdue for a refresh? We doubt it.

Following on from yesterday’s news of T-Mobile’s stingy 1GB data limit on the new G1 phone, the network has now removed the cap, albeit with a warning to anyone planning to “abuse the network” that they’ll still face limits or speed throttling. OK. That’s one dirty secret dealt with, now what about the other four?

Lastly, Ex-PlayStation boss and now Atari chief, Phil Harrison, has been busy praising the iPhone, stating it’s a model of innovation for handheld gaming. Err… isn’t that what the PSP was supposed to be, Phil?
