After Tesco went shooting its virtual mouth off about Dell’s super secret Z530 portable, the laptop maker has confirmed it is working on a 12-inch model, but won’t say whether it’s that one or not. And we’re totally not fooled by that.
David Clifton, Dell’s European marketing chief, fessed up to Reg Hardware that the dinky Inspiron Mini 9 would soon be getting a bigger sibling and that its screen would stretch to a full 12 inches.
After further prodding, however, he clammed up and wouldn’t say whether the specs and price would match the ones Tesco showed everyone by accident. But, we reckon Dell’s unlikely to be working on more than one, so they are probably pretty accurate.
