Worn Again Sherman laptop bagEach decommissioned 747 – and we’re probably going to see more of those as the price of fuel goes up – means 524 spare seats. Ethical company Worn Again is repurposing the covers as cool-looking laptop bags and handbags.

Worn Again gained popularity with their ‘rubbish’ trainers made from discarded materials and now the eco-brand has hooked up with Richard Branson to recycle all his old trans Atlantic Virgin seat covers. With the addition of some seat belts for shoulder straps and bicycle tyre for strength, Worn Again has ended up with a new line of stylish and ethical bags.
