balancing robot MurataAn ability usually reserved for street performers and circus artistes has found its way to the attention of technology outfit Murata who’ve designed this knee high rider to unicycle with apparent ease.

A number of internal gyroscopes keep Murata girl vertical whilst her electronic eye and complex software keep her clear of obstacles and change direction for a flawless performance.

Able to perform autonomously or controlled by humans toting a Bluetooth device she can steer every which way and although an expensive prototype at present would make it onto our wishlist as a desirable R/C toy for pulling in and pleasing small crowds in public.

Performing at this years CEATEC in Chiba, Japan she’ll appear alongside her bike riding brother.
