Nokia’s working on ultra-smart predictive trafficThe battle to get you from A to B just stepped up a gear, with Nokia ripping the covers off its next-gen traffic prediction service.

It’s a little like TomTom’s HD Traffic service, which uses cell phone data from Vodafone to plot movements along roads for accurate real-time traffic info.

Dubbed Traffic Works, it’s a real glimpse of Nokia’s futuristic plans. Just don’t expect it to launch this year, Nokia says it’s still more than a few months away from launch.
