Nokia’s new internet tablet. Leaked!The first details of Nokia’s next-gen internet tablet have slipped online, showing the phone firm’s plans for the first internet tablet with built in mobile skills.


This slide, snapped at Nokia’s Maemo Summit in Berlin shows its roadmap towards the new device.

The tablet, so far simply dubbed “Maemo 5” after the operating system it will run, will come packing the usual USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections, but will also pack 3G HSDPA for fast internet access using a mobile SIM card.

It’ll also employ a graphics accelerator for slick menus, 3D graphics and smooth video.

Few other details are known, but it’s fair to expect a bump in battery life, more memory and a refined design. We’ll bring you more as soon as we hear it.
