If Crocodile Dundee was shopping for a laptop, you can be pretty sure he wouldn’t be looking in the Eee PC aisle. He’d be more likely to be eyeing up something in the new Dell Precision range.
Designed to be a workstation that you can take on the road, the Precision M4400 packs some pretty meaty specs underneath its rugged frame.
The base spec is enough to grab your attention, but it’s the options that really make it stand out. Two processor cores not enough? Then simply opt for the four core Intel Core2 Quad QX9300 instead. Find you’re running out of memory? Will 8GB help? And don’t forget hard drive space – 1TB should keep you going for a while before you need to start shifting some bits around. No word on pricing, but as you’ve probably guessed already it certainly ain’t going to be cheap.
