3G enabled Eee PC 901 Go delayed

Eee PC 901If you’re looking to get yourself a surf anywhere little lappy, it looks like the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 will be your only option for a while as the 3G packing Eee PC has hit a couple of speed bumps.

The Eee PC 901 Go, with baked in 3G goodness, was expected to tip up sometime mid-September, but it’s now been pushed back to October instead.

When it does finally get here, it’ll apparently shift for €399 – about £315 – making it a mere €20 more expensive than the non-3G version. You’ll also be able to get one without signing a contract, but the 3G card is locked to T-Mobile so won’t work with another network’s SIM.

Out October | £315 | Asus (via Eee PC blog)
