Samsung has become the latest firm to hop aboard the mini notebook bandwagon (it must be becoming a bit of a squeeze on there). The Korean giant has launched the 10.2-inch NC10, and it’ll be on sale in Europe next month.
The NC10 comes with an LED backlit 1024 x 600 screen, Intel Atom processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, a webcam and between 80GB and 160GB of hard disk storage. The operating system is good old Windows XP, and the battery supposedly delivers up to eight hours of use per charge.
Samsung calls it one of the most portable netbooks in its class, with a weight of 1.33kg and a thickness of 11.9mm. White, gloss black and metallic blue are the available colour finishes.
