During a recent visit to Lourdes, his right Holy one Pope Benedict XVI (guarantee that comes up in a pub quiz soon) has his every move tracked by an unmanned aerial vehicle. It’s certainly the direction we’d expect his protection to be coming from – but perhaps the UAV was in case the big fella upstairs was busy.
The French military sent a Eagle-1 up into the skies to keep watch over any potential “kick-off” scenarios and also had fighters and helicopters standing by – that’s either paranoid in the extreme or they’ve had some serious intelligence recently.
