The PlayStation 3’s news and weather service has finally gone live, flinging real time news and forecasts straight to the console.
It’s a neat service letting you pan around a 3D global map to grab news and weather updates from anywhere in the world with info pulled up from The Weather Channel, Google news and the Earth Television Network.
With Life with PlayStation You’ll can also add photos to locations and listen to your tunes while browsing the latest news tidbits from over 60 cities.
While using the service you’ll be taking part in the Folding@home project, which means your PS3 is connected to process data for Stanford University to help find cures for diseases.
Just hop onto the console’s XMB and follow the simple instructions to breathe Life into your PS3.
