Casio has launched the follow-up to its supercharged EX-F1 digital camera. Dubbed the EX-FH20, it’s got more zoom and more megapixels, but isn’t quite as quick when it comes to burst and movie shooting.
While its predecessor could shoot at a continuous 60 frames per second at 6 megapixels, the EX-FH20 manages “only” 40fps – still much faster than 95 percent of snappers out there, and at a sharp 9.1 megapixels too. It can also shoot super high-speed video at 800fps too (the EX-F1 did 1600fps), doing so at 720p HD quality. The screen (3-inch) and optical zoom (20x) are improvements over the EX-F1.
