Have trouble getting up in the morning? No need to with a smart bed. Built into the Hi-Can (high canopy) is a drop down screen showing a projected image that allows you to surf the web, or just watch a film in surround sound.
Inbuilt speakers provide hi-fi quality sound from five channels and a subwoofer, while a hi-def projector beams an image onto a screen that lowers to fill the space at the foot of the bed. With the wireless keyboard and PC, this could become your new central office – it’ll definitely be more comfortable than your last one. It might be more pratically used by bed-bound patients, but either way, the form factor lends itself perfectly to a wrap-around multimedia experience and the concept design, by Italian firm Think Future, looks slick and contemporary.
