Sony Alpha 900 SLRProfessional photographers just got another option in their quest for the perfect SLR: Sony’s Alpha 900 was just made official, packing in more megapixels than you can shake a zoom lens at, as well as tons of new features.

For starters it’s the first full-frame digital SLR, with enhanced SteadyShot image stabilisation. The enhanced wobble-reduction lets snappers shoot sharp photos at longer exposures.

There’s also dual BIONZ image processors inside, so saving snaps is quicker than ever.

Add Sony’s nine-point auto-focus system, HDMI output and continuous shooting at five frames per second, and you’ve got a superb SLR. Did we mention the 24.6 megapixels?
