We don’t usually get excited about memory sticks, but when they’re designed to turbo-charge our digital cameras and camcorders, we sit up and take notice. Sony’s new Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo does exactly that.
Designed specifically for high-end digital cameras, the cards boast read speeds of 20MB per second, and can write data at 15MB per second.
Sony says that’s over 30% quicker than the previous generation Memory Stick PRO DUO.
The result is a memory card that’ll cope better with HD video footage, and continuous shooting from a digital camera. There’ll be no more pausing between shots while the camera catches up, and less time waiting for images to load too.
Available in 4GB and 8GB capacities, they’re the perfect solution to a sluggish snapper.
