The latest robot vacuum cleaner from iRobot could soon become man’s best friend. Roomba is obedient, cleaning up whenever programmed to, has a glossy black coat, always finds his way back to his charging bay and in his 562 Pet Series edition, Roomba can clean up the hair shed by your other pets.
Like the regular Roomba model, the new Pet Series 562 scoots around your floor sucking up the dust and fluff under furniture and finding his own way back to the charging bay when the batteries start to get low.
Now though, it is fitted with tougher brushes that can pick up pet hair and higher capacity bin. It can also clean further, covering up to four stadard rooms on a single charge and can be programmed for up to seven cleaning cycles a week, to carry on cleaning even while you’re away.
It still has trouble with corners and stairs of course, but how often do Rover and Tiddles clean the house?
