While the buzz surrounding Google’s new Chrome browser shows no signs of abating, the search engine’s co-founder Sergey Brin has let slip it’ll soon be heading to Android phones too.
According to the chaps at Engadget, Brin said: “Probably a subsequent version of Android is going to pick up a lot of the Chrome stack… My guess is we’ll have ‘Chrome-like’ or something similar.”
Guess, Sergey? Guess?!
It’s obvious Google will be giving Android a Chrome coating as soon as it can. After all, when Google controls the browser, it controls the experience, and when it controls the experience, it can insert ads to make money.
The HTC Dream never looked more attractive.
