Its another bunch of super-brains from Stanford University, this bunch of clever-clogs have created a software program that enables robotic helicopters to learn tricks from a human pilot, and then do them much more efficiently.
A central computer is fed with data from the ground operator and on-board the stunt flying sky machine then sends 20 instructions every second to the other autonomous machines, and they’ll perform the manoeuvres with added panache and grace.
Nothing special about the flying machines themselves, they’re just shop bought bladerunners with powerful software fed in, resulting in an awesome display which they watched, learnt and perfected.
