Moto just showed us its brand new A810, a touchscreen smartphone that won’t leave your wallet bruised and battered. But what’s the verdict?
From the outside, its a vision in plastic. When we got some face time with it we couldn’t help thinking it felt unfinished. But that was until we delved inside.
The software’s speedy and seemed perfectly capable, packing in handwriting recognition, web browsing and MP3 playing abilities.
Sure, the 2.2 inch screen is a little on the titchy side, but you don’t need to cram your fingers onto it to use all the A810’s functions, since there’s a hardware joystick too.
Around the back there’s a 2 megapixel camera, and it’ll support memory cards up to 2GB. So it’s a budget touchscreen phone, with few frills but perfectly capable software. Stay tuned for a video hands-on soon.
