The iPhone’s slowly gaining ground on the PSP and DS Lite with a barrage of gaming apps. Now it seems Belkin wants a piece of the action with a videogame controller for the iPhone.
Instead of getting your hands into arthritis inducing positions the Joypod has eight buttons and a left analogue stick for console style controls and an audio output to let loose sound.
From the looks of things the controller splits in two, with each end attaching to either end of the iPhone for instantly transforming it into a PSP style handheld.
We’ll have to mark this one down as a rumour for now, but we’ll let you now more if and when it happens.
