What do you get when you cross Lego bricks and a 40 watt bulb? No, not molten plastic: this innovative DIY lamp!
Designed to let you create your own lighting design, the bricks are standard Lego shapes, but made from plastic that’ll let light through. The result is a kit that’ll let you build lampshades to any shape you like.
Unearthed by the brick-heads at Gaj-it, we reckon it’s a top idea for kids, and immature adults alike, and comes with all the fittings and instructions you need to get cracking, as well as more than 230 bricks!
A word of warning though, you’ll need to provide your own bulb, so get yourself down to B&Q before ordering the kit, after all, once you’ve built the sucker you’ll want to see it light up, won’t you?
