Asus Eee PC 901 little lappyAfter 3G traces were spotted deep inside the Eee PC 901, it looks like there will indeed be a 3G enabled version and T-Mobile has jumped on board to release it in Germany.

The joint announcement from Asus and T-Mobile at IFA promises the Eee PC 901 Go with integrated mobile broadband, specifically adapted for T-Mobile’s network. The connection manager software was also developed by the two companies together.

It’ll be ready to jump online straight out of the box and you can expect up to five hours of untethered surfing before the battery gives up. It’ll support download speeds up to 7.2Mbps with uploads rocking in at 2Mbps.
