Logitech has updated its music streamer range with the all-new Squeezebox Boom - a plug and play network player that comes with the amp and speakers built-in.
Whack the Boom into a power outlet and you’re done with cables. It hooks up to your Wi-Fi network to grab the musical contents of your computer(s), not to mention whipping web radio stations off the ‘net and accessing subscription services like Rhapsody, Last.fm and Sirius.
Sounds come courtesy of a 30-watt digital amplifier, two soft-dome tweeters and a pair of 3-inch woofers - and if that’s not enough sonic power for you, there’s even the option to lash up an external subwoofer.
