LG launches first DivX HD player

Plenty of DVD players now cope with DivX files, but LG’s the first to support DivX HD, allowing a full HD flick to be stored on a single DVD.

The new DVS450H will play back DivX HD files from a USB drive or DVD, making use of ultra-smart compression tech to cram eye-popping visuals into a tiny amount of space.

The player itself is a looker too, with sleek lines giving the illusion it’s floating.

Now all we need is a release date, and a proper price.
