Gear4 just expanded its range of FM transmitters for the iPod, adding slick new technology to auto tune car stereos for the best performance.
It’s a giant leap from previous generations, which needed to have an FM radio tuned into their precise frequency.
Now Gear4’s FollowMe technology makes FM receivers adjust their tuning with the transmitter, eliminating mis-tuning and making sure the sound’s always crystal clear.
It’s featured in Gear4’s new CarDock FM Follow Me adapter, which is powered by a vehicle’s cigarette lighter, as well as the smaller AirZone FM Follow Me transmitter.
Both transmitters also use RDS to display iPod track and artist names on the radio’s display.
