Microsoft has been teasing tech fans with an upcoming announcement on 9th September, asking them to “Say goodbye to lasers”. So what’s it replacing its laser mice with? This, apparently.
It’s an all-new design, leaked by the company’s own hardware site. It appears to use a blue LED in place of the traditional laser, which reportedly improves performance, as well as making the mouse easier to use on any surface.
The wireless pointer also seems to require a USB stick to work with a PC, suggesting that it’s not a Bluetooth version.
More details are due next month, and the Big M’s sure to have a range of new accessories to match its clever mice too. Keep it here for updates as soon as we get them.
