LG just unveiled its first netbook, making good on rumours with GPS inside as well as a beefy processor and oodles of storage. All in a package barely big enough to bother your man-bag.
The design, which has been handled by the same team behind LG’s mobile phones, is slick and smooth. There’s a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom processor hammering away inside, alongside 1GB of memory and 80GB of hard disk space.
Of course, there’s Wi-Fi built in too, as well as wired ethernet and two USB ports. It’ll arrive running Windows XP as standard, and will be available in white, pink and black.
Phones4u will be selling the pink and white version exclusively, but we’re the black model will crop up elsewhere in due course.
It’s a tasty little laptop, easily one of the most attractive we’ve seen, and given the whispers we’re hearing about it being given away free with mobile broadband deals, it’s definitely one to watch.
