Nintendo’s IQ boosting title, Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training has broken the record for the longest time spent in the UK all formats charts, notching up a clever 80 weeks in total.
The record was previously held by Eidos developed title, Tomb Raider, which spent 79 weeks in the charts.
Once again the current chart is dominated by Nintendo titles with nine of the top ten belonging to the Wii, and the record breaking Brain Training sitting at number eight.
With the likes of Wii Sports Resort, Wii Music and Samba De Amigo to arrive it looks like the chart will have a familiar ring to it for a while yet.
