Is it a boat? Is it an armoured ATV? Actually it’s both, and a seemingly unbreakable and unstoppable waterproof RC toy. Like the hydrogen fuel cell-powered H2Go, Morphibian is another innovation from the Science Museum.
Morphibian can power over rough terrain, through ditches and plunge headlong into deep rivers without a pause, whereupon its wheels become paddles that propel it through the water to the other bank. The stumpy vehicle looks like a US Military experiment, but it’s actually a harmless remote control toy that’s soon to go on sale at the Science Museum store alongside a raft of hi-tech toys. It might not be showcasing a hydrogen fuel cell like the H2Go, but it’s just as much fun.
