The competition may be churning out clone after clone of the Eee PC, but it’s not put Asus off producing yet more models. There must be 42 different Eee PC versions available now. At least.
Details of the new 900HD come courtesy of the FCC website, where Asus has filed a listing.
There’s no word yet on whether it’s going to be powered by the new Atom chip, or use the slow and steady Celeron processor like previous 900 models. It looks pretty certain it’s going to have a spinning disk and the bottom access hatch is much larger than on previous models, so it might be possible to squeeze a standard 2.5in hard disk in there.
