Casio’s 8 meg cameraphone. Unlikely to be heading our way soon. From Samsung to Sony Ericsson. Soon every manufacturer will be flaunting an 8 megapixel cameraphone, and Casio’s no exception. Its W63CA just got leaked, thanks to the FCC website.

And now for the bad news. It’s highly unlikely this phone will ever grace your local mobile store. That’s because Casio simply doesn’t have a strong presence in the UK phone market, and despite its approval by the FCC, there’s no guarantee it’ll show up in the USA either.

Still, we can always dream, and this phone’s exactly what we like to fill our heads with.

Created by Casio and Hitachi, it’s a 3G flip phone with 8 megapixels in the back, and branded with the Big C’s Exilim marque.

What do you think? Would you trust Casio’s expertise in cameras to deliver a top notch phone? Give us a shout in the comments section below.
