The rumours of an Apple event to introduce new iPods just won’t die. The latest claims from across the web are that Jobs and Co will take to the stage on September 9th, unveiling the next-generation of Apple’s music players.
According to MacRumors, there’s a special event planned for September 9th. Of course, it’s still speculation, but adding weight to the claims is Gizmodo’s Brian Lam, who says he’s heard similar dates bandied ’round too.
All this also coincides with claims by Digg.com founder Kevin Rose that a new iPod nano and redesigned iPod touch will debut in the next two to three weeks. He’s even provided a spy shot of the new nano.
As always, it’s complete conjecture until Apple dishes out the invites. Keep it here for updates as soon as we get them.
