Is this the new iPod nano? Kevin Rose, founder of Digg.com seems to think so, and it tallies with rumours of Apple squeezing in a longer screen too.
According to Rose, the whole iPod line is also due to undergo massive price cuts, with the new nano debuting alongside a new iPod touch with a few minor cosmetic changes.
Its tapered edges certainly seem to chime with Apple’s latest design obsession, echoing those featured on the new iPhone 3G as well as the MacBook Air.
Rose also claims there’ll be an all-new version of iTunes, new firmware for the iPod touch (and later the iPhone) bringing push notifications for apps, and an update for OS X to support Blu-Ray, which must mean there’ll be new optical drive options for Macs too.
