The big news about the upgraded PSP-3000 is that it sports an improved screen, that’s much brighter and easier to view in direct sunlight. If you’re interested in how much better it is over the old model – just take a look at the two side by side (well, technically top to bottom).
There’s no denying it – the new screen is superb and a vast improvement over the old one. The shots were snapped by Japanese site Famitsu and its intrepid reporter was blown away by the difference and said it’ll certainly be possible to play games outside in bright sunlight.
So there you go, proof if ever you needed it that computer games don’t stop kids going out and getting some fresh air.
