Nintendo dishes out multi-coloured Wii straps

Coloured safety straps for the Wii remote have been rumoured for a while and are now fact, ready to inject some life into your pale soulless Wiimotes.

No, they’re not the most exciting gadgets in the world, but could it mean Nintendo’s finally ready to offer multi-coloured Wiimotes too?

It’s too early to say, but Nintendo of Japan will be releasing the colourful collection in September for around £1.50 each, or four costing roughly £4.90

For that you’ll get the pleasure of Wii straps in blue, green, pink and white adorning your Wii Sports-sprained wrist. Now, Nintendo, that’s really enough peripherals. Can we have some new games please?
