Looks like someone might have jumped the gun slightly over at Canon’s website in China by pushing the publish button for the EOS 50D specs a little bit too early. Either that, or someone just accidentally lent on it when they came in to do the tea run.
The specs briefly appeared on Canon’s Chinese site before being hastily unpublished. The page then hung around in Google’s cache for a little longer before being finally purged for good. Luckily, someone over at the Fred Miranda forum managed to snap a screenshot of the page before it disappeared for good.
The spec looks pretty solid, running to a 15.1 megapixel sensor, ISO 12,800 sensitivity, Digic 4 image processor, 3in VGA resolution screen and built in image stabilisation.
