Just when you’d finally got your head around aaaaall the different Eee PCs out there, it looks like Asus might make things all complicated again by introducing a new name: N-series.
According to Digitimes, it’s not abandoning little laptops altogether, but new N-series machines will be ever so slightly more powerful, with 320GB hard drives and come running Vista. They’ll still be pretty portable with a 10.2in screen and fairly inexpensive at around $500 - though not as cheap as some Eee PCs go for.
Of course, there’s nothing stopping Asus from introducing a gazillion different N-Series models as well. You could then play a game whereby you try and identify whether a machine is an Eee PC or N-series just from its specs alone.
