You’ll need a steady hand if you’re going to take on Mr Robot Head’s nerve testing game, but no batteries - just crank the handle at the back and he’s fully charged.
This educational robot from Ecotronic for the Science Museum store is a great test of dexterity and concentration, but the retro design is instantly appealing too. The simple cube shaped head has flashing eyes and mouth and a tangle of wire hair to be negotiated by the metal ring to avoid setting off his alarm. And brilliantly, there’s no battery compartment, just a crank at the back that can generate enough power to play the game.
Out September | £16.99 from Science Museum | Ecotronic
