The PSP might not yet have a keyboard, but Sony just unveiled one for the PlayStation 3 at the Leipzig Games Convention.
Clipping onto the top of a PS3 SIXAXIS or DUALSHOCK3 controller, the keyboard uses the joypad’s mini USB socket to hook up, and allow easy text entry.
It’s perfect for tapping out e-mails, chatting with gamers through in-game chat, or using the PS3’s web browser.
There’s also a “touchpad mode” to let you move a mouse cursor on-screen simply by brushing a finger over any of the keys on the surface.
Since it uses Bluetooth, it’ll also work with other gadgets, like mobile phones, laptops and PDAs. Perfect for use with a PS3 laptop mod then?
