We’d only just been lamenting the lack of a new PSP, and Sony comes along and delivers! All hail the PSP-3000!
Whipping off the covers at the Leipzig Games Convention, Sony’s explained that it’s more of an evolution than a complete redesign. There’s an improved screen, and a built- in microphone for use with Go! Messenger and Skype.
Apparently the screen performs better in sunlight, with no glare, and Sony says it’s increased the picture quality too. Aside from that, the shell is the same size, shape and weight. And no, there’s still no built in storage.
Available from October 15th, it’ll cost €199, or around £157, and come bundled with one game. Sony also says it’ll be available in black, white and silver variations.
