Sony’s not content with shoving an 80GB PlayStation 3 this Friday, it’s just announced it’ll be unleashing a model with a whopping 160GB hard drive at the end of October.
It’s designed to make space for game downloads, movies, music and photos.
Hitting shelves on October 31st, it’ll come with €70 (or around £55) worth of credit for the PlayStation Network Store, just to get you started downloading.
Its price tag is due to be €449, or around £355 in the UK, although it’s worth reminding yourself that the PlayStation 3 will accept any notebook-sized hard drive, and replacing whichever drive comes with the model you buy is a simple case of undoing a single screw. DIY enthusiasts could get this bundle now, without the expense, or the months of waiting.
