NASA’s vision for a new kind of car sees driver and passengers enclosed in a kind of go-kart with their heads protruding from a vehicle that can turn 360 degrees while stationary. Maybe NASA should stick to space travel.
The concept design by Marek Kedzierski and Michal Vlek brings a whole new level of maneuverability with wheels that can swivel on their axel to turn the car through 360 degrees without moving the vehicle forwards. With the head protruding through the car’s canopy, all-round visibility is pretty good too, but it does look a little vulnerable at the same time. We’re assuming some kind of hat is in order.
