Named in honour of the world’s first coin-op machine, Computer Space, this updated cabinet from Retro Space combines over 100 licensed arcade classics with an HD media jukebox, bringing together the best of the 1970s with all the present day has to offer.
Sitting in the middle of that anodized aluminium control panel, you’ll find a two player setup - including a trackball and arcade quality Sanwa joysticks for all the 8-bit nostalgia your heart desires.
Inside, it’s powered by a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo chip, 2GB memory, a 120GB hard drive plus all the regular gubbins like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet. Flip it out of retro mode, and you’ve got a 1080p capable display and a pumping 2×90W soundsystem.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but we’re guessing it’ll be ever so slightly more than the fistful of 10 pence pieces it took to complete Bubble Bobble down the arcade.
